RETRO CRAFTS – EMBROIDERY FOR KIDS

(Registration Required) This month’s Retro Craft is Embroidery. Embroidery is the art of decorating fabric with designs in strands of thread or yarn using a needle. The art of embroidery is found worldwide.  Embroidered works in China have been dated to the 5th-3rd century BC. Ms. Annette will instruct our PDL budding crafters in how to do a running stitch, straight stitch and sewing buttons to create an individual piece of art using a hoop, fabric, buttons, embroidery thread and needle. Because of the skill level involved, this class is limited to 3rd through 5th graders.
