Hand Dyeing Yarn

In order to make sure that as many people as possible enjoy the programs in our Makerspace, we are setting a limit of one program per month. This is for Makerspace programs with registration only.

Customize yarn for a small project or accent with local artist Emily Wohlscheid. Students will be introduced to a hand dyeing process to create semi solid shades using wool yarn and professional acid dyes. An emphasis will be placed on dye safety. Professional resources for further explanation and pattern suggestions will be provided.
