Explore your creative side and learn what goes into designing your own goddess during this interactive art workshop with artist Susan Teague. Attendees will work in groups to embrace their imaginative side and create a figure worthy of an exhibit. Attendees twelve years old and up are welcome to participate in this community art experience. Please register as space is limited.
Artist Bio: Kalamazoo, Michigan area artist Susan Teague received her A.S. in Liberal Arts from Kalamazoo Valley Community College and B.S. in Fine Art from Western Michigan University in the early 1970s. Her post-graduate studies were in Art Education, Speech and Theater, and Creative Expression at Murray State University and the University of Kentucky at Lexington. Susan has had the fortunate opportunity to study with five internationally recognized artists who have influenced her path as an artist.
Goddesses Galore: You and Me Sister is her first book. Her exhibit "Goddesses: You and Me Sister" will be on display at the library for the months of July and August.
